ABOUT REDEEMING THE GAME
Redeeming The Game was born from one simple conviction; athletes deserve more than just skill development. They deserve healing, wholeness, and a community that sees the person behind the performance. For years I’ve watched athletes break down under pressure, coaches feel lost in how to lead, and families silently carry the emotional weight of the sports world. I’ve lived through my own journey of brokenness, rebuilding, and redemption, and out of that story came a fire: to train the whole athlete; body, mind, and spirit, so they can step into their fullest potential without losing themselves along the way. What began as a movement for athletes and coaches, has now become a mission to help athletes, coaches, families, communities, and non-athletes navigate their mental health as well as that of their loved ones.
Redeeming The Game is built on two pillars:
1️⃣ The Strong Mind Project – Mental Health
-
This is the heartbeat of RTG.
-
A movement dedicated to helping athletes, coaches, families, and communities navigate the mental and emotional pressures that we face every day.
-
We talk about identity, anxiety, performance stress, comparison, suicidal ideation, and the stuff most people avoid.
-
We create safe spaces to process, learn, breathe, and grow.
-
We build tools that make people stronger from the inside out, because winning on the outside means nothing if you’re losing yourself on the inside.
-
2️⃣ V7 Training – Skill Development
-
This is where athletes sharpen their craft.
-
Speed, agility, vertical, explosiveness, mechanics, IQ, discipline; we build it all.
-
We push athletes to grow, not just physically, but in their confidence, resilience, and ability to compete with integrity and purpose.
-
This is high-level athletic performance training that refuses to treat athletes like robots. It’s human. It’s intentional. It’s transformative.
-
Redeeming The Game is where performance meets purpose, where skill meets soul, where people are taught not only how to win but how to be whole. This isn’t just training. This is redemption. This is healing.
Meet The Director

Jay Miller "Coach Jay"
I’m here to coach the whole athlete, not just the body that competes, but the mind that battles in silence, and the spirit that keeps them going when everything in them wants to quit. I know what it feels like to break. I know what it feels like to lose yourself under pressure, expectations, and the weight of everyone else’s opinions, and I’ve watched too many athletes crumble the same way, not because they weren’t strong enough, but because nobody ever taught them how to carry what was happening on the inside. My mission is to change that.
I’m committed to building environments where athletes feel seen, safe, and supported; where being human isn’t a liability, and mental health isn’t a taboo topic whispered in locker rooms or ignored on bus rides home. I refuse to let another kid suffer in silence because adults were too uncomfortable to have honest conversations.
I’m not here to protect feelings. I’m here to protect lives.
I want to teach coaches how to coach beyond drills, plays, and scoreboards, how to coach hearts, not just talent, how to coach in a way that doesn’t crush confidence, but builds identity, how to understand that the athlete in front of them isn’t a machine...they’re a person with fears, hopes, anxiety, trauma, dreams, and a soul that’s fighting battles no one sees. I want to help coaches become the kind of leaders who heal, not harm, the kind who create culture, not chaos, the kind who understand that impact goes far beyond wins.
I want to support and educate parents, because they are the heartbeat of their child’s world whether they realize it or not. Too many young athletes walk into pressure cookers at home before they ever feel pressure on the court or field. Families need tools, guidance, and truth. They need to learn how to create a home where kids don’t have to earn love, hide pain, or fake strength, safe environment can save a child’s life. A toxic one can destroy it.
This is my mission:
To transform athletics into a place where mental health matters as much as physical performance; To build a culture where vulnerability is respected, emotional honesty is normal, and every athlete knows they’re more than their stats; To fight for the ones who don’t have the words to say, “I’m not okay.”
I’m here to stand in that gap. I’m here to coach the whole human.
I’m here to change the way we show up for this generation, athletes, coaches, and families...one heart at a time.
