What is Little Champs all about?

Little Champs is all about introducing boys & girls, ages 3-6, to the

AWESOME adventure that is sports & recreation!  We have three areas of focus:
 

  1. FUN

  2. Motor Skill Development

  3. Athletic Skill Development

 

The most important thing we can do for our youngsters, when it comes to sports, is to help them have fun.  There is a "secret ingredient" needed for maximum youth sports development.  I call it the Mr. Miyagi philosophy.  We're the Mr. Miyagi of youth sports!!!

All kidding aside, we understand that it's possible for a child to develop their motor skills, their athletic skills, and HAVE FUN...all at the same time!  Through a variety of games & activities, designed specifically for motor skill & athletic development, each child will have the opportunity to learn, grow, & PLAY.  Sessions are 1x/week for 6 weeks.  At the end of each

6-week session, children will have participated in fun, age appropriate activities related to the skills most relevant to the following sports: ⚽🏀🏈🥎⚾🏐

 

Our activities promote optimal motor learning, through muscle memory.  At the same time that both the gross & fine motor skills are being refined, children are also developing their sport specific fundamentals.  All this while having FUN!!!  We'd love for you to check us out!

Coach Jay

 

Coach Jay and his wife Audrey have three children.  Their oldest son Alijah, their daughter Austin, and their youngest son Jaxin can often be found playing, or coaching, alongside them.   Coach Jay has over 20 years experience coaching & training at various levels.  He has made the focus of his coaching & training about helping people find joy in "playing" sports while helping people discover, develop, and refine their abilities.
